Sessions for humans are scheduled for either 1/2 or 1 hour, including time for getting settled and making payments/scheduling afterward.

Members of KMSDF receive a $10 discount off all services as long as they are active members in good standing. The discount extends to children regularly attending kids' classes. Participants of any KMSDF seminars, even if not gym members, receive $10 off their first visit only.
If you refer a friend who mentions you when they come, you receive $10 off your next visit!

Fee for Missed Appointments
There is a $40 fee for any no-shows or same-day cancellations. A no-fee reschedule is requested however in case of contagious illness to keep other clients and myself healthy.
Scheduling a Session
Please call Lauren Chattigre directly at 503-310-3852 to schedule a Core Reiki session. The gym cannot schedule these sessions. Available times include Tuesday and Thursday mornings before gym classes begin at noon, and Sundays before afternoon classes begin at three. Other times may be arranged on a case by case basis. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who remain in the room during session. Distance reiki sessions are also available when clients are unable to physically visit.
What to Wear
Comfort is key to a relaxing session. A large thick pad on the floor is used instead of a massage table for lots of space and cushioning. If you tend to get cold, wear thick clothing and socks. If you tend to get warm, T-shirt and shorts are fine (and a minimum requirement) with thin socks since feet are typically treated too. Please do NOT wear any perfumes, lotions, sprays, gels, or essential oils. Also refrain from tobacco, marijuana, and alcohol before coming.
What to Expect
Reiki tends to be a very relaxing endeavor. Some people fall asleep (snoring is OK) and others prefer to chat. Depending on the degree of energy movement, you may need a moment to get your land legs back before driving. Hydration before and after is encouraged. Beyond that, everyone is different in how they respond but as with most alternative healing modalities the benefits last longer as sessions are repeated.
